I’ve decided to start this blog to document and track my progress as I embark on a journey toward living a more healthy, holistic and self-sufficient lifestyle.
As well as sharing my vast knowledge on a range of different health and wellbeing topics, I will also be experimenting with putting these theories into practice because, as we know, offering helpful advice is one thing, while following said advice can be a completely different story!
Starting this blog is not only my way of sharing my knowledge with you, but I'm also hoping to take you along on my own personal journey toward living the holistic, healthy lifestyle that I'm aspiring to so that I can share my results and ultimately help others to achieve their health and wellbeing goals also.
Like the vast majority of the population, I have grown up living a traditional Western lifestyle where overindulging in processed foods, living a sedentary lifestyle and relying heavily on pharmaceutical products for anything that might possibly be wrong with you is considered normal, while holistic practices such as using herbal remedies, meditation and making your own natural cleaning products? Not so much.
One of my goals in life is not only to live a more healthy and holistic lifestyle, but also to live a more self-sufficient lifestyle (which in my mind kind of ties in with the whole holistic health and wellbeing theme anyway) by experimenting with things such as organic gardening, harvesting and preserving my own organic produce, cooking from scratch and making my own home-made beauty products.
